A Little Different

I am in the enviable position of not having to make a living at this. That means I can pick and choose who I work for.

While I do still have a number of commercial accounts active, I now only accept work with labor and/or non-profit organizations, or word-of-mouth referrals from the same .

Over the past thirteen years, I have refined my skill set and added the latest software and technology as I've built my customer base.

I believe it's important to give back, and the Labor Movement has been very good to me and my family. Now it's my turn to return the favor.

As any good craftsman knows, picking the right tools for the job is essential to a well-designed, quality product. Whether it's simple HTML, Flash enhancements, or a customized WordPress theme, I'll find the right balance for your project.

Labor/Non-Profits Discounts

I've done work for the AFL-CIO, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, AFTRA, various Teamster & ATU locals, as well as two labor councils.

My personal background consists of 29 years in the Teamsters Union, as well as a BA from the University of Washington in Editorial Journalism/Psychology. I've been involved in publishing newsletters, designing flyers, campaign materials, and developing websites for the past 20 years.

Because I believe the Labor movement and the work that non-profit organizations do is so important, I offer a 50% discount from my normal commercial rate of $50.00 per hour to those organizations that I choose to work for. And you can be sure your that your members will get their money's worth!
